The long-awaited new English language production of The Phantom of the Opera opened last night at the Politeama Rossetti in Trieste. This highly-anticipated new version stars Ramin Karimloo as The Phantom opposite Amelia Milo as Christine, Bradley Jaden as Raoul and Earl Carpenter as Monsieur André.
Among those in attendance in the lead up to opening night was Andrew Lloyd Webber, who went backstage after the show to congratulate the cast on a magical performance.
Missing out on The Music of the Night in Trieste? This reimagined production of The Phantom of the Opera is coming to Milan and Monte Carlo later this year. Also directed by Federico Bellone, a Spanish language version starring Gerónimo Rauch and Talía del Val opens in Madrid this September.
