The nominations for the 2024 Olivier Awards were announced earlier today, with Jamie Lloyd's revival of Sunset Boulevard receiving 11 nominations. Sunset is the most-nominated show this year, ahead of Guys and Dolls and Dear England, each of which received 9 nominations.
The nominations received are:
Best Actress in a Musical – Nicole Scherzinger
Best Actor in a Musical – Tom Francis
Best Director – Jamie Lloyd
Best Supporting Actress in a Musical – Grace Hodgett Young
Best Supporting Actor in a Musical – David Thaxton
Best Choreographer – Fabian Aloise
Best Musical Revival
Best Sound Design – Adam Fisher
Outstanding Musical Contribution – Alan Williams for Musical Supervision and Musical Direction
Best Set Design – Soutra Gilmour for Set Design and Nathan Amzi and Joe Random for Video Design
Best Lighting Design – Jack Knowles
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 14 April at the Royal Albert Hall and will be shown on ITV.
