Excitement is building for the first ever Mandarin-language production of The Phantom of the Opera, which opens in Shanghai on 9 May. This week, the chandelier rose for the first time over the stage of the Shanghai Grand Theatre, where the landmark production will premiere in less than 3 weeks. Watch as the talented cast and creatives experienced the moment for the first time.
The Phantom, will be played by Ayanga, Liu Lingfei, and He Liangchen. Yang Chenxiuyi, Pan Hangwei, and Lin Shao will play Christine.
