We’re thrilled to announce that The Phantom of the Opera will make its India debut at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre! As part of the International Tour, the production will also travel to Singapore, and Bangkok, bringing this iconic show to new audiences across Asia.
Almost two years since the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre opened its doors to the world with three landmark shows that set new precedents for performing and visual arts in the country, the cultural destination is set to add yet another historic first to its repertoire with the opening of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.
Founder & Chairperson Mrs. Nita Ambani said
‘Over the last two years, it has been my humble attempt to bring truly unique artistic experiences to the India audience. Even among the amazing international productions that the Cultural Centre brought to our country for the very first time, ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ sets a special benchmark. As a love story, it portrays the incredible depths of human nature, and as an experience it brings a magnitude of theatrical grandeur that has simply not been witnessed before. I invite everyone to share this first-of-its-kind memory with their loved ones at NMACC”.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera is regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful and spectacular productions of the story, playing to over 160 million people in 195 cities in 21 languages.
