World Theatre Day with BRIT School Performers at the ALW Musicals Piano

Bringing a touch of theatrical magic to the heart of London, we’re thrilled to announce that in celebration of World Theatre Day, the beautiful Yamaha piano donated by Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals at St Pancras International, London, has officially been named… Phantom!

We celebrated with an afternoon filled with unforgettable moments, including special performances from the exceptionally talented musical theatre students from The BRIT School who sang their favourite selections from Andrew Lloyd Webber's most iconic works and shared with us the impact his music has had on their creative journey.

We were also delighted to be joined by two of the famous LW Theatre Red Coats handing out totebags and specially illustrated theatre maps. The station was filled with the sound of musical theatre – and let's just say, commuters had never seen an afternoon quite like it, and we hope it continues to inspire a new generation to discover and share the power of music.
